Tire maintenance, brakes and suspension in Logan.
Tire work is what we do most, including TPMS sensor programming. Brakes and suspension are the rest of it. Mount and balance is priced below. Everything else is quoted per vehicle, so call with the year, make and model and you'll get a real number over the phone.
Per tire. Torqued to spec rather than hammered on with an impact gun.
Pressures set, tread measured, sidewalls checked. No appointment, nothing to buy.
No charge, no appointment
Free air check and tire inspection.
Pull in and we'll look the tires over and set the pressures. You don't have to be a customer, you don't have to buy anything, and we'll tell you straight if there's nothing wrong.
What we check
- All four tires and the spare, set to the placard on your door jamb
- Tread depth measured in 32nds, in three spots across each tire
- The wear pattern — shoulders, center or one edge each point at a different cause
- Sidewalls and beads for cracking, bulges and curb damage
- The date code, so you know how old the rubber actually is
Then we tell you roughly how much life is left, so you can plan for it instead of getting surprised.
Tire maintenance
What we do most.
Bring the tires, the wheels, or the whole vehicle. We fit what you already own, including tires you bought online.
- Mount and balance, torqued to spec rather than hammered on with an impact
- Seasonal wheel swaps, on their own wheels or bare
- EV and Tesla tire rotation, mounting and balancing
- Road-force balancing
- Tire rotation, every 5,000 to 7,000 miles
- Valve stems and stem replacement
- TPMS sensor programming, relearn and replacement
- Free air check and tire inspection
Used tires on the rack
Car, truck and SUV sizes, plus UTV, dirt bike and trailer tires that nobody else around here keeps used.
Same inspection before you buy: tread measured in 32nds and the age code read off the sidewall, so you know exactly what you're getting. Trailer tires in particular usually fail from age-cracked sidewalls rather than worn tread.
Call to check stock — it turns over weekly
TPMS Sensor Programming
The tire light that won't go off
If it's on because a tire is genuinely low, the free air check fixes it in five minutes. If it comes back on with all four at the right pressure, that's the sensor, not the tire.
Those sensors sit inside the wheel and run on a sealed battery that dies somewhere around seven to ten years. They also get damaged during careless mounting. And after a rotation or a wheel swap the system often just needs a relearn, because it no longer knows which sensor is at which corner.
We read all four, tell you which one is actually the problem, and program the system back. Worth knowing if you run a second set of wheels through the winter: that set needs its own sensors, and a relearn each time it goes on.
EV & Tesla
We work on electric vehicles.
Tire rotation, mounting and balancing on Teslas and other EVs. They're not the same job as a gas car and plenty of shops would rather not touch them.
An EV carries its battery pack under the floor, so it has to come up on the correct lift points with pucks — put a lift arm in the wrong place and you're into the pack or the rocker. They're also heavy, and they run low-rolling-resistance tires that wear faster, which makes staying on top of tire rotation matter more than it does on a normal car.
Many EV tires are lined with acoustic foam to keep road noise down, and that changes how they mount and balance. We torque to spec by hand rather than run an impact gun across the wheels.
Brakes & suspension
The parts Cache Valley roads eat.
Frost heave, gravel, canyon miles and a winter of potholes. Quoted per vehicle, because a control arm on a half-ton isn't a control arm on a Civic. Call with the year, make and model and you'll get a real number before we order anything.
Suspension & steering
- Shocks
- Upper and lower control arms
- Upper and lower ball joints
- Inner and outer tie rods
- Sway bar links
- Lift and lowering kits
